Hi, I’m Lidia Nash, and this is my husband, Jeff. We’re the adventurers behind Retire Young, Travel Smart! After years of dreaming about escaping the 9-to-5 grind and exploring the world, we finally made it happen. We traded our traditional careers (I was a CPA!) for a life of early retirement, budget-conscious travel, and fulfilling experiences. Now, we’re passionate about helping others do the same.

Our Journey to Early Retirement and the Open Road

Like many of you, we used to spend our days working hard, always looking forward to those precious few weeks of vacation each year. But the idea of waiting until our late 60s to really start living and traveling seemed like a lifetime away. We knew there had to be a better way.

We had to learn how to make our savings work harder, rethink our spending habits, and get creative with our travel plans. But through careful planning, determination, and a shared love for adventure, we were able to retire early and embark on a new chapter filled with exploration and the freedom to live life on our own terms.
